SNMG-UM Medium Machining Turning Insert is a 90° Negative SNMG style square for unstable conditions. The UM (Medium) chipbreaker maintains chip control and surface consistency during medium machining. YG1001 Grade supports high speed continuous and light interrupted cast iron turning with dependable life. Additional grades YG3010, YG3020, and YG3030 extend coverage from finishing to interrupted steel.
