Sharpening is in our blood.
Family run since 1971A family business that has provided commitment and support to our clients for over 50 years. The directors bring together years of experience gained from a broad customer base — from sharpening saw blades and manufacturing tools for furniture and cabinet makers, to evaluating cutting speeds and advising the metalworking industry.
There is nothing better than using sharp scissors, a chain saw that cuts better than the day you bought it, a drill bit that just keeps drilling, or a favourite kitchen knife that’s a pleasure to use. That’s what we do, and we do it well.
From our father’s humble beginnings in Richmond, sharpening tools with a file, to three sons watching after school as he filed a circular saw blade — introducing technology has made it easier and better. But one thing is certain: experience matters when it comes to sharper, longer-lasting cutting tools.
